Looking for information on Maggie Pogue Johnson, (b.unknown) Maggie was the daughter of Baptist Minister Samuel Pogue, Mother (unknown). They lived in Fincastle, VA. Maggie was the 8th of 12 children,(siblings unknown). Maggie married Dr. Walter W. Johnson. Maggie & Walter had one son, Walter Jr. after the death of her first husband, Maggie married Dr. John Wesley Shellcroft. Maggie wrote a poetry book called"VIRGINIA DREAMS" LYRICS FOR THE IDLE HOUR (cpoyright 1910),publshed by John M. Leonard. The poetry book was dedicated to her first husband. In 1951 Maggie dedicated her second poetry book "FALLEN BLOSSEMS" to her son Walter Jr. This is the only information i have on Maggie. If anyone has information on Maggie's bith, mother, siblings, date of both marriages, & her death, you can contact me at Cathleen-Ashby@webtv.net
