Hi Frankie, I appreciate you information. The Lewis Zachariah Pogue line is interesting to me because of area and naming patterns for children, but have been unable to find a place for my Robert Pogue in the online pedigree for that family history. Unfortunately, none of the studies I've done on the Pollock/Poague/Poage/Polk/Poag/Pogue lineages have located a family for Robert Pogue b abt 1798 TN m Anna Lindsey abt 1820 in MO.

A DNA could be very useful in this research, but we need to have a fairly clear direction to which family name to use for the conclusion.
