Gary,
Since you RE: Columbus,Ohio as the birthplace of your Samuel B. Pogue-- Might he have been born 1886? and a brother of Charles b.1889 and Lawrence b. 1899?? If so we may have a connection.

For years I'd always heard of my GtGrandmother's sister called Auntie Pogue shown in the menu a couple below your posting, under Ohio/Pogue. I've since learned her given name was Addie J. Tier, b.1861 one of a set of twins. This family stayed pretty close to Franklin Co., Columbus, Ohio.

What ever you may have I'd love to share. I have just a little more info on these people.
