Catharine Madison 1754 - 1818 was married to Capt. Robert McClanahan in 1770 and born him two sons, Robert & John. Capt McClanahn 1747-1774 was killed in the Battle of Point Pleasant.

Catharine then married Sgt. William Pogue/Poague in 1777 and he was killed in the same Dunmore's War of the Revolution only 10 months after they were married. She was pregnant with a son William born in 1778. Listed as the grandfather of George Poague who married Sarah McCue Wilson in the McCues of the Old Dominion. I can not find who the son of William and Catharine Poague married.

After William Pogue's demise Catharine married Capt. William Arbuckle.
Would appreciate if someone has more information or correct info on William Pogue 1754-1777.
