Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Hi Debi,

Thank you so much for sending me this information. Unfor-
tunately, this is not my Henrietta. The daughter Martha
matches, but the other children, Ida, Emil, Herman, Rudolph, Adolph and Clara had all been born by 1900 and
there are no McCleans in our family.

I appreciate you taking the time and effort to send this
information though, and you succeeded in helping me completely blow one of my "assumptions", although I do
know better than to make them!

I do know that their youngest daughter was born in 1906
and that my father, born in 1913, remembered both his grandparents.
