James, I don't think we have Anna Pohlmann in common.
My Anna Pohlmann ( my great grandma ) married a Georg Fredrick Robert Burghardt on 7 June 1884 somewhere in Germany.
Anna's father was Therodor Polhmann and mother was Anna Schloem.
Anna and Georg Fredrick immigrated to USA in the late 1890s, settling in Illinois (Kankakee).
From what I'm told Pohlmann is a common surname in Germany. And finding the 'right' Pohlmann is as they say......'finding a needle in the haystack'.
But we might have some Pohlmanns in common further back.
Does Therodor Pohlmann or Anna Schloem ring a bell ?
Thanks for your input. Barb
