Recent information on the internet lists the Montana Death Index for 1907 - 1953 listing Joseph F. Putrah, 91, 29 May 1916. I pursued this and with the help of a genealogist in the area of Roundup, Musselshell, Montanta located the grave of my Joseph F. Putrah, 1824 - 1916, she provided pictures. Marriage records show that his daughter Ada (Adeline Ann) was married to Judson Holcomb, 1876 in Marion Junction, Turner, South Dakota. She was living with their daughter Gertrude Stevens in Roundup, Montana when her father, Joseph Putrah, must have come to visit in 1916 as he is not listed in the census records.

I am still unable to locate the where abouts of Margaret Parazeau Putrah (Poitra)'s final resting place. It is not in Canton, Lincoln, South Dakota. We recently visited there and located the site of her son, George Putrah, however.

Daughter Theresa Putrah La Barge and her family are in the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Davis, South Dakota.

And the search goes on.
