Hi Tracy, I found this searching for some family history. I'm the granddaughter of Marie-Therese (Terry) and Wilfred Beach. Just wanted to let you know that my mom's name is spelled Beverley with an "e". It always bugs her that it gets spelled wrong most of the time.
Also wondering how you know that this line of Poitras' does not have Metis or First Nations roots? My Grandma says that it does not, but a lot of other people in the family say that it does. I'm just curious to find out the truth about that.
