Hi Theresa,

Thanks for the reply. I am familiar with the book and have copies of the main family data. It is a great book (even if it is in French). Unfortunately, just like all the other books about the Poitras family, none of them seem to go past Laurent. I'm thinking this will become my mission in life -- seek out and find Laurent's parents! <g>

What is your connection to the Poitras line? If it helps, I have a ton of research done on them (although not as much as that book has). But mine's in electronic format. If you'd like to see the Poitras info, you can check out my database on the Rootsweb World Connect Project. The URL is: http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=rmilan. If you find a connection, feel free to download any of the data. The info there is a result of joint effort on the part of several cousins. There are probably a few mistakes, but most of it is pretty accurate.

Happy hunting... and again, thanks!
