Looking for info on my grandmother Pauline Polacik (she used this spelling but I have seen Polacek listed on some forms - it is one of several spellings). Born around 1893. She was from Joko (Dobra Voda) Slovakia and immigrated to Norwalk CT in 1911 to live with a brother, Emil. Her parents may have been named Elizabeth and Stephen (listed on her death certificate in 1936). She had another brother Micahael who lived in Norwalk, CT. She married Joseph Gayarsky (from Velke Kostalony), had 3 children, and moved to Fitchburg, MA in early 1930's.
