WOW!! Everyone out there is amazing. I can't believe everything that you have found for me. According to my G.Grandfathers death certificate which was filled out by Mary his fathers name was John. Maybe she is the one who came in 1909. The story alwasy was that Stella (who they actually called Lou) was sick but maybe my grandfather just misunderstood. Stanley also had four brothers Thomas, Frank, Andrew and Tony. We know nothing about these men. My living relatives have no memory of Thomas living with them. There were also apparantly a couple of sisters, a Mary Bielicka, and an Anna. There is also a story that Stanley was a member of the Czar's bodyguard and that he either deserted or bought out his commssion from the Russian army. Also Stanley's family was always described as "well-to-do" and the he was disowned for marrying the servants daughter.
I did have the WWI draft record for Thomas but was unable to decifer what it said. Thanks so much for that.
In the last day I have been given more information than I had found in almost 8 years of looking. Thank you!!
