Hi Wendy,
Glad to see you are enjoying this! In case you have not yet located Kikol, you can see it here http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?formtype=address&searchtype=address&addtohistory=&country=PL&location=gcbT9B2NubP1%2fTI82NZuWFoU4T75gGExti6xmfBAQHuZswYTdFo5Oz%2bsAzssBFrxsrVSXKPub90vQX2nkyVKWAqwSf2sT8ztmb%2feAeXtq1Esd0gMniSzkA%3d%3d . Kikol has some diacritical marks when written in Polish, with an accent mark over the "o" and a line through the "l". It is a village of about 1500 people in the wojewodztwo (that's Polish for "province") of Kujawsko-Pomorskie. On this map, if you zoom out once, you will see the city of Plock to the southeast of Kikol. If you zoom out two more times, you'll see that Warsaw is farther to the east/southeast.
Best regards,
Sue
