I would have preferred to post this message at the Schachtschneider family page but it doesn't exist. I am researching Peter Schachtscheider/Chowlowinska b.1770- and his wife Anna Christine Falkenberg b.1778- who probably left Posen and went to Katarzynow (near Brzeziny) in Poland. They had a large family (Johann b.1800-,Marianne b.1806-,August b.1810-,Christine b.1813-, Luise b.1816-, Michael b.1818-,Peter b.1819-Elizabeth b.1820-, and Martin b.1822-. If you are aware of this family please contact me.
