Dell,
I have the booklet “Chicago’s Southeast Side Revisited” and one by the same publisher (Arcadia) entitled the “Polish Community of Gary” (another U.S. Steel town). My family had roots in both of these communities as well as Buffalo/Lackawanna (yet another U.S. Steel town). my son wrote a small piece about our family called "Men of steel".
