Hi Jan,
Thanks for your help - - yes, I noticed the year 1918 on the stamp in the lower left corner. Of course, the war did not end until the 11th of November of that year, and for Poland the fighting continued beyond that. I wish I knew which organization was collecting this money. Also, I wonder whether anyone can recognize if the soldier in this picture is wearing a Haller's Army uniform.
