Your translation is great, thank you. And let us think, for a moment, what it means to see the words "To Dla Polski" on a poster in the U.S. in 1918. We must imagine this, an immigrant community, an ocean away from the land of their birth, and we must remember that at the time these people were born, "Poland" as a country had not existed on the map for close to 100 years, but it continued to exist as a nation in their blood and in their hearts so strongly that they believed it would rise again. And it did rise again, thanks to the strength and endurance of the Poles who continued living on their ancestral lands, thanks to the millions of soldiers and civilians who lost their lives throughout Europe, and maybe thanks to a dollar here and a dollar there, collected and sent to the national treasury.

I know there are a lot of Polish patriots on this forum...
