Thanks to your expert help, I found baptism records of my Sawicki family in Kolno church records. Now I'm searching marriage records. You guided me to the right church and by example taught me how to translate all the important information in the records. I now have e-mail contact with 2 cousins living in Poland and 1 cousin that moved from Poland to England. I received information of some living relatives and a few that passed away from Poland. I even stepped back in time 1 generation to receive the name of my gr-gr-gr-great grandfather, Tomasz Sawicki. May the New Year be a joyous and wonderful year for you, my friend, and your family.
