Apparently the Roman Catholic records for Hoczwi are not in the LDS microfilm or the Przemysl archives. I am trying to determine if my Roman Catholic ancestors lived in Zernica Wyzna or Zernica Nizna in the 1830s-1840s. Would the next step be to see if the RC church in Hoczew still keeps records there dating back to 1830? Or is it better to contact civil authorities for Zernica Wyzna and Zernica Nizna to see if they have any civil records? I have never researched in Poland, so I don't know the best approach.

Ron
