May want to take Gilberto's message and run with his idea.I think your best bet is going to be to try to find your mother in Germany.That is where you were adopted.It is most likely where your mother was living when you were born.You did not say where you were born ... Poland or Germany.
Think about this.During WW II, many Polish people were placed into concentration camps and put into slave labor in Germany.This may be how your mother and possibly her parents and siblings ended up in Germany after WW II.We do not know the full story about how you ended up being adopted in Germany.After WW II ended, part of Germany and all of Poland was under Communist rule.People did not travel around Eastern Europe as they do today. I doubt very much that a pregnant girl would have gotten out of Poland in 1960 to go to Germany to have a child.
Gilberto found some Labus people in Germany.I would would check the out first before looking for her in Poland.
