Norberto :)
Today morning Wojtek asked me all about immigration of yours Szczepaniak's from this Ruchocin, as his family (grandma) recals Szczepaniak's lived in village, moreover she remembers where the Szczepaniak's home was located in Ruchocin!, but she is not sure this Szczepaniaks were yours, so I am telling Wojtek from your message:
"Between 1872 and 1900, my grandfather and his two brothers were born in that area"
"Tomasz Szczepaniak born about December 1849
Franciszka Kosciusko born March 9, 1854
They were married about 1873.
Their three (3) sons:
Jozef Szczepaniak born February 28, 1880
Wincenty Szczepaniak born March 19, 1877
Wojciech Szczepaniak born March 14, 1889
Here is what I know: The family emigrated from Afryka East Prussia (via Hamburg) on November 16, 1890 and arrived in New York on board the S.S. Suevia on December 1, 1890."
Is that all you know about yours from Poland? All these three brothers immigrated to the US? If someone rested in Poland/Prussia-Germany, do you know his name?
Cheers!
Tadek
