Zlatica, with your help and the help of a few others I am finally making some progress on tracing my wife's family back to Nieczajna Gorna. There is one record I have not been able to verify, the mother of Stanislow ( americanized to Stanley) and Honorata (also Americanized to Eleanora) was named Maryann (Maryanna, Marian, Marya)Bator (Batur) in this country. The ship manifest does not include a complete spelling of her given name, but it ends like this, ...terzanne. Her maiden name was also given to me as Citgo. I do want to Thank You for the information you have generously sent us.
