She be Polish, who born in time, when Poland be occupation (1795-1918) by 3 country (German, Austria, Russia).

In years 1795-1918 Polish state not exist.

See:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Partitions_of_Poland
and
http://pl.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Plik:Rzeczpospolita_Rozbiory_4.png&filetimestamp=20100111162128

If she born in “Germany”, I sure that She come from West Poland
(from Gdańsk, Bydgoszcz, Poznań to Częstochowa).

Maybe You have more information ??
(city, polish documents, maiden name of mother Annie Nicole etc.)
