I just discovered that there are two (2) Cook County Court U.S. Naturalization files for Leo Janicki. Both of these guys have the same name and date of birth. I think that they are for the same guy but somehow the process was duplicated. My guess is that there was a hiccup in the original filing and instead of continuing with that file, they just started the process all over. So you get two bites of the information apple from the repeated documents. Again, here is a link to the web site:
A search for LEO JANICKI will produce two (2) index records. One indicates that Leo was born on April 3, 1891 and was living at 3008 West 21st Place in Chicago when he filed his documents on November 16, 1926. The index further states that Leo immigrated to the U.S. on September 16, 1907 and his birth city was “GREOFA”
The other index indicates that Leo was born April 3, 1891 and was living at 1920 W 17th Street in Chicago when he filed the documents on December 20, 1917. The index further states that Leo immigrated to the U.S. on October 7, 1909 and his birth city was “POGOZELE”
