Thank you for your help. I haven't checked Stanley's SS yet, but a relative I managed to contact sent me this information.

"His name was Stanislaus Romani Brodowski and he was from Cracow, Poland. The photos have nothing written on the back of them. He returned to Poland in 1935-1936 and I was concieved upon his return! To the best of my knowledge, the family was destroyed during the nazi invasion of Poland soon after his return."

I'd like to see if there are any memmbers of that family left in Cracow today.
