Michling surname

I understand that Berlinchen, Neumark, Brandenburg, Germany is now named Barlinek and is in Poland. I am trying to find the parents of Herman Michling, who was born October 1850 in Berlinchen, I believe. Does anyone know how I might find a birth record or a marriage record? I believe his family were member of the Evangelische faith. Another lead is that he married a woman named Auguste Gillis or Schlepsia (or something like that) about 1878 in Germany; they and children left for the USA in December 1884 (they arrived in New York City on 16 Feb. 1885) on the ship Salier out of Bremen. Thanks for any lead you can give me.
