Looking for any info available concerning the family around 1870 to 1880.

The Family appears in the 1880 census as Andrew and Catherine “Lease” living in Hopewell, Anderson County, South Carolina. I was able to trace the family back to the 1880 census through Mary’s 1900, 1910, 1920 and 1930 U.S. census information. In 1900 Mary indicated that she was born in Arkansas. In 1910, 1920 and 1930 she indicated that she was born in South Carolina.
According to the 1880 census Mary was born in Poland and the next two (2) siblings Joseph and Anna were born in South Carolina in 1878 and 1879 respectively. If Mary was in fact born in South Carolina, then that would support the 1873 date of immigration that the other siblings have in their census records. Thus, Sophie would have been the last sibling born in Austria/Poland in 1873 and Mary the first born in the U.S. in South Carolina circa 1873-74
