Dear Leanne, Our branch of the Pole family first came to Australia in approximately 1852, from West Penard England. They were James Pole and his wife Mary (nee Adlam)married 1846. It is stated on James Pole's death certificate that he was married in West Penard England and his parents were John Pole(Herdsman) and Mary Pole (nee Collick). James & Mary Pole had 7 children all of whom settled in Victoria and New South Wales. If you think we are connected, I can supply you with what other information I have on all these descendants.
