could you tell me or guide me to where I could find out if there was a Joseph and Isabelle Pollock and their twin sons James and Norman in Chester County, PA? they were from Dublin, Ireland. the boys were born about 1749 and at least one fought in the Rev War. I inherited some papers that say they were there before they moved on to Berkeley Co VA/now WV. Another paper, written by the same person says that they were NEVER there; however he has it on the family sheet as Places of residence:
Dubling>Chester Co PA>Berekley Co Va
The one twin's middle name was Turbitt. I found out Turbett is an Irish name. Maybe his mother's maiden name. One twin married Mary ELLIS, if that surname gives any connection. Any help or guidance is appreciated.
