On Ellis Island records, our great grandfather is listed as Charles Pollack (our name is now Pollock), born 1884 in Roma, Russia. Family lore says this was Latvia/Lithuania, and his father was Mayer Pollock, grandfather was Albert Nathan Pollock. Any connections?
