Brooklyn Standard Union dec 8, 1918. Edie STEWART POLLOCK, employed in the United States Treasury Department at Washington, D. C., for forty-eight years, and a veteran of the Civil War, having served with a Pennsylvania regiment, died on Friday at his home, 2347 Foster avenue. He was born in Clarion County, a. eighty-three years ago, had been a resident of Washington, D. C. for forty-eight years and of Brooklyn since last spring. He had been chief of the customs division of the Treasury Department and later was in charge of the Liquidation Division. He was a graduate of Jefferson College, class of 1858, now Washington and Jefferson College, and was a member of the College Alumni Society and Burnside Post G.A.R. of Washington, D. C. He is survived by his widow, Sallie DUBOIS; one son, Clarence D., of Brooklyn; and a daughter, Mrs. G. WYNKOOK, of Kingston, N. J. Funeral services were held last evening at the home of his son, 531 East Twenty-third street. Interment at Kingston, N. J., to-morrow. there maybe a typo it may be Wynkoop.
