Pollic Connection in Ohio?
Posted by: Shawndel Wilson (ID *****0076) Date: May 24, 2006 at 13:37:54

I am looking for information on a Willis Edward Pollic who supposedly was born in Poland to a Polish father and an Irish mother. He came to America with his parents, was orphaned at a young age and raised by neighbors. He eventually settled down in Hardin County, Ohio and married Christine "Katie" Elizabeth Little. They had several children, one of which was my great-grandmother. He passed away, I am not sure when exactly, but it must have been somewhere in the early 1900's because my grandmother only recalls Katie's second husband Clinton "Henry" Young. (This is the extent of the information that I have.)

I am thinking that the name was changed in coming to America or by the neighbors because I cannot find any information on Pollic's. I do not think he was ever officially adopted by anyone.

ANY help would be greatly appreciated!

Shawndel Wilson
