Hi,

My name is Mariano Polack. My great-great grandfather Leib came to Argentina in 1881 or so from Smotrich, Ukraine. He had a cousin Abram, son of Ichiel-Zus, a brother Yankel Leibish and one more brother (Ichiel also, although this would contradict with jewish tradition. Don't know of any sisters.

Could Yankel-Leibish be Yankel David? Could his father Itzak be Ichiel?
I think this could be something...
Please let me know!

Mariano
Does this sound familiar?

Thanks,

Mariano
