I also am searching for my husband's ancestors named Pollak or some version of that. Anna Pollak was born in the Prauge area - maybe Kladno - about 1870, and migrated to the US to the New York city area - possibly as Anna Lewitus, as she married Adolf Lewitus but I don't know if it was before or after they immigrated. They had 3 children - Frances, Victor and Richard. Anna died around 1904 - possibly in the Prauge area.
