Thanks, Kelly. I hope your grandmother has an idea who it could be. Do you know where she grew up? Please let me know what you find out from her.

I wrote that my g-grandpa was from the Texarkana area, but he was actually from the Bradley County, AR area until he was a bit older. He was a Southern Arkansas man, anyway. He preached in many different towns and churches over the years. He was called E.J.G. CARTER, Joe CARTER, or Alphabet CARTER. He died in 1969 at 95 years old.
