Hello: My name is Esteban De Pombo, im from Colombia, where there is a large "De Pombo " family.

Owr name is not "Pombo" is "De Pombo". Pombo in Gallego, means Dove, a male Dove. And there is a place in Galicia(Northen Spain) called Pombo, so those who have this name , must be "De Pombo", wich means "From Pombo".

My ancesters came from Galicia to Colombia in 1790, and we still, use "DE". Some relatives just use "Pombo " This is in Bogota. Im from the caribbean, Cartagena.

I have the coplete family name story
