Hi Pat: My Father was your Father's cousin Ernie. My uncles and aunts are Alfred, Mary, Ralph, etc. I am the oldest of 8 children by Ernest J. Pombo and Ella Fortson Pombo. I remember hearing about a brother to my Grandfather Joe by the name of Manuel while growing up. I met a Daniel Pombo who worked at St. Joseph's Hospital who said his grandfather was Manuel. Is this the same Manuel? He married a gal who also worked at the hospital, I can't for the life of me remember her name. I can see her clearly in my mind. Uncle Ralph is the father to Congressman Richard Pombo. He is my "double first cousin". His father Ralph is Dad's brother and his mother Onita is my mother's sister..."double first cousins". I could go on forever. My cousin Pam "Pombo" Mitchell (father - George Pombo - brother to Alfred, Mary, Ernie, Ralph) also does research on this geneology site. She would be a good source for you to check. Thank you for the reply to my query. CPSanguinetti
