I am looking at a letter in the family bible dated April 3, 1937. This letter is from Leon Y. Pond to William POnd and Ina Evelyn Pond in which he is inquiring about the family genealogy. The heading on the letter is Stillman Pond Genealogical Association. Stillman Pond was born in Hubbardston Mass and migrated west. Leon Y. Pond and Ina Evelyn Pond (my grandmother) were forth cousins.Leons line of descent is as follows: Daniel of Dedham, Robert,Ezra, Ezra, Joseph, Preston, Stillman, Noah and then Leon. On Ina Evely Ponds side there are also the Pecks, Barrows, Wheaton, Babcock, Capron, Tucker, Lawson, Ingalls, Codding many of which aer in the family cemetary in N. Rehobeth Ma..Also John Barrows age 28 came from Yarmouth England to Salem Ma in 1637 and then moved to Plymouth then died in 1692., His son (I believe) Joshua Ebenezer Beniah settled in Attleboro Ma in 1708. He married Lydia daughter of Joseph Bueklin one of the early settlers of Rehobeth....Any information at all would be greatly appreciated as I have lost my Mom and Grandma who would have been of great help..Karen
