Lola Pond, m. Timothy Hinman? or Aaron Hinman?

Hello:

I am looking for information on the family of Timothy Pond (1730-1801) and his wife Sarah Bartholomew. The family settled the area around Clinton, New York in 1789. They had 10 children, one of them named Lola, who supposedly married Timothy Hinman before or about 1800.

I have not been able to locate any trace of this family, or its head - Timothy Hinman. It is possible that he may not have existed, and that Lola Pond married Aaron Hinman, instead. Aaron Hinman and his family were living among the Pond families in 1800, but he is the only Hinman living in that community.

I also learned that Aaron Hinman had at least 3 children - a daughter Polly, and 2 sons, Timothy and Warren. According to an old Pond family history ("The descendents of Samuel Pond" (1875)), Timothy and Lola (Pond) Hinman had 10 children, three of whom are named Polly, Timothy, and Warren. They also had a son named Aaron. The information on this family was given to the author of the history (Daniel Streator Pond) by Rev. Billious Pond, who admitted his memory was poor on the dates, names, and birth order of the children.

Does anybody out there have any information on this specific family? I'm looking for PRIMARY sources (birth, marriage records, etc.) The only information I have on this family is anecdotal in nature.

Thanks in advance for your replies.
