I am co-administrator of the Pond/Ponds DNA Project with Family Tree DNA. We are trying to get as many representatives of the various branches of the Pond family to submit their DNA for inclusion in the groups.
There is a Haplogroup for the Southampton Co., VA Pond families of which I am a descendant. My brother is WB Ponds on the chart. We are descendants of John Pond through Daniel Pond and his son Samuel who migrated to Anson County, NC.

If you would like to submit your DNA go to:

(my grandfather added the "s")
