Rev. Thomas A. Pond(s), South Carolina native
Posted by: Margarette Ponds (ID *****5990) Date: October 20, 2006 at 04:34:42

Rev. Thomas A. Ponds lived in Fairfield County, Norwalk, Connecticut in 1930. He was a Baptist minister born in South Carolina. He was 35 years old born in South Carolina. His wife was Mary, age 32, born in Virginia.

Rev. Thomas Ponds, age 34 lived in Jefferson County, Louisville, Kentucky in 1920. He was born in South Carolina. He was 34 years old and his wife Mary 38, born in Kentucky.

Rev. Thomas Ponds lived in Tennessee before this time.

My questions are:
1. Does anyone know if this is the same Person and does anyone have any information about Rev. Thomas Pond or Ponds?
2. Is there a connection to the Mark Ponds family who lived in Lexington County, South Carolina in 1880? (There was a Thomas Pond in that family also who lived and died in California.) I cannot find Mark Ponds' family before 1880. Bascom Ponds, Mark's son, was my great-grandfather but we know nothing about the others except for Thomas, Cromwell (who lived in Salt Lake City, then Alamenda, CA where he died), and George who died in Arkansas. The only female we know about is Alice Sawyer Boozer, although there were three more sisters.

Any information appreciated.
