Ponds and Swaggerts/Swygerts in SC

I'm looking for information about my great-great grandparents, Michael and Frances Ponds who
lived in Lexington County, SC, Gilbert Hollow Township in 1880. They do not appear in the
1870 census of that County. In 1900 some of the children were in Conway County, AR. Their
children were:
George, Bascom (my great-grandfather-full name John Bascom), Elizabeth (Lizzie), Thomas,
Mary, Estelle, and Cromwell.

Alice married Richard BOOZER. (Richard was Hattie Boozer's brother and had a brother named
Lemuel) She may have been an Alice Sawyer. They were in SC in 1880 but Alice and Richard
were not married in 1880.
Bascom married Ida ARMSTEAD.
George married Ida Swaggert/Swygert, daughter of Hannibal and Isabella? Swaggert from South
Carolina in 1888 in AR
Thomas married Minnie Lee Payton from SC. He was a railroad worker.
Cromwell was a railroad worker.
Have pictures of Bascom, Thomas, and Cromwell. Where were they in 1870? Are there relatives still in SC? Were they in another state in 1870?
