I was on ancestry.com with my father yesterday and he found a Pedro Pons down the line in my mother's family. He's my great-great-great grandfather. He had a son named Henry Victor Pons as well which I don't see listed in your information but Henry is my great-great grandfather. He had a daughter named Lea Pons who is my great-grandmother. (and the spouse of Pedro matches up so it's correct).
