Hi, Jean

Have you also seen the name PAXETI/PACETTI/PACETTY linked with PONS, CARRARES, COLLIER...etc? I am a great great granddaughter of a Catharine Ann PACETTY WILDER (b. 25 January 1854 Savannah, GA).

I have a book, "Pacetty Lineage" which was compiled by Marguerite Marree Mathews that may be of interest to you...lots of info from 1724 to present.

Of particular interest: "Maria Dolores Florentina PAXETI married to Antonio PONS 8 Sept. 1823, in a Civil ceremony and on 5 Nov. 1823 Catholic Church St. Augustine, FL....Antonio Matias PONS b. 15 August 1798 in St. Augustine, baptised 25 August 1798 by Father Miquel O'Reilly. His parents were Juan PONS of Villa de Mahon, Minorca, son of Antonio PONS and Margarita CARDONA and his wife Juana ANDREU, native of Province, daughter of Antonio ANDREU and Maria OLIVERAS. Sponsors for the baptism: Matias PONS and Agueda PONS."

The book is about 70 pages, but I'd be happy to compile what I have or do lookups for you!
