I have several Pons family ancestors from Minorca. My gggggg grandmother was Margarita Huget Pons. born in Alayor, Minorca, Spain. She was b. 1657, m. 16 Feb 1675 to Antonio Pellicer, also of Minorca. Are you mainly interested in Minorcan or St. Augustine connections? A few good books are Minorcans in Florida, Jane Quinn. Mullet on the Beach, Patricia C. Griffin. These two books got me started and have helped me find out a lot of information about Minorca, St. Augustine and the interconnections of families who immigrated from Minorca to colonize the Andrew Turnbull colony in New Smyrna, Florida. There is also a lot of info in New Smyrna Beach on this subject. Good luck. Eldridge
