I have responded by email as I have lots of questions and much info to share but I show the spouse of Juana Catalina ANDREU as Juan PONZ (notice the spelling) and have them married on 20 Dec 1786 in St. Augustine, FL. I believe they had 7 children but I only have documentation on my line Margarita Francesca PONZ (their 3rd daughter) b. 7 Jan 1794. This PONZ line is closely related to the PONS and I have the two lines marrying in the early 1700's and again in the mid 1800's in my tree. Has anyone else found these two distinct lines and spellings?

Could your Maria A. B. Pons actually be spelled PONZ???
