I have a genealogy chart for the Mestre family written by Lorenzo Pons of Mahon, Menorca in 1963. The other families listed are: Mascaro, Sintes, Llambias, Hernandez, Pons, & Soler. I also have documentation of the marriage of Ana Boyes to Eleazano Clark (of United States) in 1838 in Mahon. My line is through Carlatta Boyes but the Pons also figure in. My problem is I don't know just how to read the chart, as near as I can tell it shows a Mestre and Mascaro marriage producing a son Lorenzo, dates unknown. Does any of this fit other information and could someone help with reading the chart. The earliest information shows BARTOLOME = Margarita T. 1643. In a box under that is Mestre Y Pons and a line down to FRANCISCO = Mariana notatio 1755. Does that mean Francisco Mestre married Maiana Pons or was Francisco's last name Mestre de Pons? Thanks for any help.
