I also have Linn/Lynn in my line - I trace them back to early Jackson Co TN...Roaring River area. They connect or live near Turney (Henry Turney is the one I am looking for as an Indian captive), Carr, Johnson, Ramsey, etc....Josiah Ramsey was an Indian Captive released by Bouquet, he was from northern Augusta Co VA...then he moved to eastern TN and settled on Roaring River in what later became Jackson Co TN. I have not connected by Lynn back to VA but know they were one of the early families in eastern TN.....say about 1774 or so.

Mary
