I am seeking information on an event, The Clendennin Masacre, that took place during Pontiac's Rebellion, 15 July 1763 in which Archibald Clendennin was killed along with several others. His wife, Jennet, and her brother, John Ewing were taken captive by the Indians.
The nearby settlement of Muddy Creek Va was also attacked. Would like to hear from anyone having information of this event.
