Believe it or not the age is about right. She was taken at age 10 and kept for 6 years. Spelling way off! I will seek out a Frenchman and ask him to pronounce Sovereigns. or a German. I am not being silly It does help me see how the name was misconstrued or changed from the original spelling. Does it tell of who released them? What Tribe. This Hannah was taken from the list of captives released at Fort Pitt right? Some of the prisoners were released to a "Johnson" not to Bouquet as the Indians were more comfortable dealing with "Johnson". (notes not with me at the moment) and some of the captives were sent south to VA and MD. Another list was given to Johnson... at least this is how I interpreted Bouquets papers about this action. This Hannah you found is as close so will keep the info. Thanks! Heading for Western MD, PA, VA to do research on this subject. Have you done research in these areas? Beth
