Try these SURNAMES:Pool, Poole P'Pool, Pettypool, Pettipool, Pettipol,
I am a descendant Of Nathan Pool & Margaret Peek.
Nathan for an unknown reason moved to around the Georgia area. His brother was William Pettypool, and his father
Was Claybourne Pettypool.
The Peek family did a great pedigree that was on the Internet for years, but I never saved the pages, It is not on the internet any more.
From what I could read on the internet the Pettypools came from England, after being driven out of Germany.
I have failed to make a connection between the Pools in England and Ireland.
The P'Pool name came from the ships manifest. PettyPool was too long thus P'Pool.
Also drop the Jr. Most people did not use that until modern times. I know it makes it harder to sort out.
Keep all records of your sources.
